Your Role

You’re more than just an experienced developer. You’re the technical leader of our development team. You actively contribute to development, ensure the quality of our software, and help your colleagues improve. You also contribute ideas on architecture, technical decisions, and the continued development of our platform.

At Zynyo, you don't just work on a small part of a large system. You have a direct impact on the product, the technology, and the way we work together.

You’ll serve as the technical sparring partner for the CEO, CTO, and colleagues in Sales, Support, Account Management, Implementation, and Legal. Together, you’ll translate customer needs, market trends, and new laws and regulations into innovative features and future-proof software.

What are you going to do?

Together with a team of five developers, you’ll work every day on the ongoing development of our SaaS platform. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new features in Java (Spring) and Angular
  • Designing Scalable and Maintainable Software
  • Ensuring technical quality through code reviews
  • Coaching colleagues and encouraging knowledge sharing
  • Contributing ideas on architecture and the technical roadmap
  • Improving development processes and engineering best practices
  • Translating new laws and regulations into future-proof software
  • Developing integrations with new product partners
  • Serve as a technical sounding board for colleagues in product management, sales, and implementation

You'll have a lot of freedom to suggest improvements and actually implement them.

Who are you?

You are an experienced Java developer who enjoys taking on responsibility and thrives on collaboration. In addition, you have:

  • A completed associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • At least five years of experience in Java development
  • Experience with Spring and Hibernate
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum
  • Experience with code reviews and ensuring software quality
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to clearly explain technical decisions to colleagues from diverse backgrounds
  • You live within commuting distance of Hengelo
