Zynyo at Post-Quantum Cryptography Conference 2025
November 7, 2025

The quantum age is approaching and the urgency to future-proof digital security infrastructures is increasing. This was the main theme at the Post-Quantum Cryptography Conference from Oct. 28 to 30, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. Zynyo attended to gain new insights and also to share knowledge.
Quantum secure cryptography
Quantum computers will have the power to crack much of the encryption that protects digital communications, financial systems and government data today. The transition to quantum secure cryptography is crucial to ensure privacy, trust and security in a world where quantum capabilities are rapidly advancing.
Three-day event with Zynyo/TNO workshop
The conference brought together more than 3,500 experts (600 on-site and 2,500 online) from over 30 countries to explore the strategic and technical aspects of PQC. The three-day event included expert lectures, hands-on workshops and technical training sessions. From Zynyo, Sven Konings (software developer) participated in the activities. He also gave a workshop together with Stefan van den Berg and Alessandro Amadori from TNO on applying quantum secure cryptography in combination with current cryptography.

Post-quantum cryptography in practice
Participants were equipped with the skills and tools to apply post-quantum cryptography in practice. They left with tangible scripts, templates and tools to protect digital infrastructure from emerging quantum threats. Within the HAPKIDO project, Zynyo has already gained experience with this hybrid cryptography by applying it to digital signatures.(HAPKIDO is a consortium of TNO, TU Delft, logius, KPN, Microsoft, CWI Software and ZYNYO).
Message PKI Consortium
The conference, organized by the PKI Consortium, was a crucial step toward coordinated global preparedness. The event concluded with a powerful global message: the time to act is now, to protect the digital economy before quantum computers render current encryption obsolete.
Conclusions conference and follow-up
Following the success of this conference, the next Post-Quantum Cryptography Conference will take place in Munich, Germany, in November 2026. It will focus on sharing practical migration experiences, real-world challenges, and lessons learned from organizations and sectors undergoing this transition. The PKI Consortium will also strengthen international cooperation through new working groups and technical exchanges. Want to know more? Read the conclusions of the last PQC conference.
